It is very important to create all attributes that need global use as global attributes. This ensures they are available in your shop’s filters. Attributes created only inside individual products will not appear in the shop filters.

  1. Edit a product
  2. Scroll to Linked Products
  3. Add: Upsells, Cross-sells
  4. Update the product

Upsell products appear at the bottom of the product page and usually suggest similar or higher-value alternatives. Cross-sell products appear on the cart page and suggest complementary items. Most modern WooCommerce themes support both by default. If these fields are left empty, WooCommerce may automatically generate related products based on categories or tags.

There are two main ways to change product order: bulk sorting using a global sorting option, or manual custom sorting from the Products page for precise control. A hybrid approach, such as setting default sorting to “Date (latest)” and adjusting product publish dates, can be useful when you want specific products featured alongside newly added ones.

1. Change default sorting from the Customizer:

  • Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → WooCommerce → Product Catalog → Change default sorting by: Popularity, Latest, Rating, Price, Default sorting

2. Manual custom order:

  • Dashboard → Products → Sorting → drag & drop

3. Using specialized plugins:
